Police Log: Vague Threats, Concern about an Elderly Neighbor
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, May 2
3:19 p.m.: A caller reported a two-car crash on Cedar Street, near the Sports Authority. No one was injured.
3:24 p.m.: A caller reported hearing a loud bang on Asylum Street, like blasting or construction. Police checked the area but found nothing.

10:48 p.m.: A caller on Fern Street asked police to check on an elderly neighbor. The caller said she could hear the water running upstairs and it had been running for more than an hour. Police checked and the woman was fine.
11:24 p.m.: Milford Regional Medical Center reported a woman had left without discharge papers, and with an IV still in her arm. Police responded to the address the woman had left, but were told she doesn't live there anymore.

Friday, May 3
7:07 a.m.: An officer assigned to the Milford schools was investigating a bus related complaint on North Bow Street.
7:37 a.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about a possible domestic issue. Police arrested Richard T. Norris, 20, of 44 Exchange St., Holliston, on charges of domestic assault and battery and threatening to commit a crime.
8:37 a.m.: A man on Water Street asked to speak to an officer about a hit-and-run that had happened to his vehicle overnight.
10:28 a.m.: A caller reported a dead animal on Purchase Street. The animal control office was contacted.
10:53 a.m.: Wires were reported down on Chapin Street. A caller said a truck had taken them down. Police contacted Verizon.
1:49 p.m.: A caller at MetroWest OB-GYN reported an irate caller had made threats toward a building, saying they were going to blow it up. The caller had few details about what building the caller was referring to, or who the irate caller was. The MetroWest clinics also are in Natick and Framingham. The caller had no details of where the call came from or who was calling.
2:25 p.m.: Firefighters returned to Haven Street, where parts of the brush fire Thursday had flared up again.
