Police Log: Women Going through Trash

Tuesday, Feb. 26
4:25 p.m.: A caller reported a two-car crash on East Main Street at Medway Road. No injury was reported.
4:48 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Congress Street. No injury was involved.

4:56 p.m.: Police responded to Glines Avenue. Police arrested Walter N. St. George, 44, of 7 Glines Ave., Apt. 2nd floor, Milford, on a warrant.
6:20 p.m.: A caller reported a disturbance on State Street at Prentice Avenue. Police responded and determined there was no disturbance. Several kids who were kicked out of the Milford Youth Center were there, and when told the cops were coming, left the area.

6:31 p.m.: Police and firefighters returned to Salon Tashique, where a man had a barrel burning again. Firefighters determined the fire had relit on its own, and the act was not intentional.
7:15 p.m.: A woman told police she thought Central Gas and Market had underage children being employed.
7:38 p.m.: A caller reported she fell at MAC Package Store, and asked to speak to police.
11:10 p.m.: A 20-year-old was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center from John Smith Sports Center, after she fell and was bleeding from the head.
Wednesday, Feb. 27
2:07 a.m.: A Pontiac Vibe was repossessed on Colonial Road.
7:15 a.m.: A caller on Westbrook Street reported two women were going through people's trash. Police located them nearby, and spoke to them.
2:31 p.m.: A woman reported her car was broken into on Grove Street. She called back to report that she found the missing items.
2:53 p.m.: A police officer discovered an open door on Wood Street. He secured it.
3:05 p.m.: A woman reported she was in a hit-and-run on Route 140 and pulled into the Ultimate Tanning parking lot. She wasn't sure which way the other car went.
