The bike run and barbecue will take place at the Italian American Veterans Post, from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sept. 7.
The cost is $20 for a bike, or $10 per person.
Micky Ward will attend, as will Carlos Arredondo, one of the heroes of the Boston Marathon bombing, who scooped up a man who had had both legs amputated and made sure he got help.
