UPDATE: Wanted Patient Flees MetroWest Medical Center
K9 and state helicopter units were requested to search for a patient who fled MetroWest Medical Center.

Update June 12:Â
After a search that lasted nearly 5 hours Wednesday afternoon, Natick Police apprehended a subject who was suffering from a "medical issue" and was attempting to avoid the hospital, according to Natick Police.Â
"We searched from 1:30 [p.m.] until about 6 when the party was spotted by the air wing," Lt. Grassey of the Natick Police said.Â

The subject was temporarily placed into custody. No arrest has been made, according to Grassey.Â

A patient fled the MetroWest Medical Center who had active warrants for his arrest Wednesday afternoon, according to initial scanner reports.Â
Ashland K9 units assisted Natick Police in searching for the missing person. Police also requested assistance from the state airwing.
