Lilja Fall Harvest Fest Slated for Oct. 18

Here are 5 things to know today in Natick.

1. The inaugural all-family fundraising event of the year is Lilja School's popular Harvest Festival on Oct. 18 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the gym. Bring the whole family for some dancing to DJ Mike, pumpkin decorating, scarecrow making and more seasonal fun. Refer to the virtual backpack for details and registration forms. Lilja is still looking for volunteers to bring items, help at the event, set up, and clean up. Sign up on the volunteer form: http://bit.ly/18LdDWI.

2. Box Tops submission time is quickly approaching. There are three ways to help earn dollars for Kennedy Middle School:
  • Consider purchasing your Halloween costumes online - There are special links to participating stores that enable our school to be credited with eBoxTops® when you make a purchase. Remember, this is at no additional cost to you. What is an "eBoxTop"?  They're an online version of Box Tops and are electronically credited to your school's account, with no clipping required. Any eBoxTops® earned will be automatically added to your school's next Box Tops check.  Just like clipped Box Tops, eBoxTops® are worth 10¢ apiece.
  • Make any purchase online. Log into boxtops4education.com and go to "earn online" for more details
  • Continue clipping BoxTops and send them into school.  There is a drop off box located inside the main office.  The last pickup before submission is Oct. 23.

3. The Natick SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council) will hold its first meeting on Oct. 24 from 7-9 p.m. at Town Hall. Click here for more details.
