Linsky Re-Appointed Chair of House Post Audit Committee
Rep. David Linsky (D-Natick) oversaw the Post Audit Committee last session, when they conducted investigations into a number of different issues.

State Representative David P. Linsky (D-Natick) announced today that House Speaker Robert A. DeLeo has re-appointed him as Chair of the House Committee on Post Audit and Oversight.

As Chairman, Linsky is responsible of directing the Legislative Post Audit Bureau to perform investigations, examinations, audits, and general oversight. Under his leadership of the Post Audit Committee last session, the Committee conducted investigations on numerous issues, including Lyme disease, the cost of indigent defense counsel, oversight of the current debt of the Big Dig, as well as leading oversight hearings in conjunction with the House Chairmen of Public Health and Public Safety Committees on the meningitis outbreak relative to sterile compounding pharmacies and the Hinton State Drug Lab crisis. Linsky, entering his eighth term in the Legislature, is looking forward to continuing as Chairman.

I plan on continuing the work that we have already begun relative to the oversight of compounding pharmacies and the crime lab as well as undertaking any new issues that are sure to arise during the term.”
