Natick Opens Cooling Stations Amid High Heat This Week

Three locations can be used as cooling stations across Natick during high heat days this week. Here's what to know.

NATICK, MA — The National Weather Service is tracking a rise in heat and humidity from today (7/15) through Wednesday (7/17) with an expected heat index over 100 degrees.

The Town of Natick would like to make you aware of locations that can be used for cooling if needed:

The Natick Community Senior Center (117 E Central St) will be open:

  • Monday – Wednesday 8:30 AM – 5 PM
  • Thursday - 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Friday - 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

The Morse Institute Library (14 E Central St) will be open:

  • Monday – Thursday 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The Natick Mall (1245 Worcester St) will be open:

  • Monday-Thursday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Friday-Saturday 10:00 am to 9:00 pm

Due to this high heat event, we urge all residents to take the time to stay cool, stay healthy, and check in on neighbors, family, and friends to ensure their health and wellbeing.
