Should Natick Have a Youth Center? Take the Online Survey

Common Street Community Church is asking for feedback on the possible project.

Members of the Common Street Community Church are trying to gauge interest whether the town should have a youth center.

An online survey has been created, asking the public for feedback on the possible project.

The church members are envisioning the center to be used for:

  • A safe space;
  • Youth empowerment;
  • Creativity and arts;
  • Social activism;
  • Self-worth;
  • Fun social events.
" ... we need more safe places for youth to hang out, be themselves, and find empowerment and encouragement," a statement reads on the survey website. "That’s why we are bringing together youth, caring adults, other faith communities, our police, service council, rec. department, public and private schools, and other community groups to build a non-sectarian youth center open to ALL."

Residents wanting to take the survey can do so here: www.surveymonkey.com/s/9PFTH72.
