5 Things You Need to Know: Networking, Books, Blogs, and More

Five things you need to know for April 19.

 

1. The National Weather Service is predicting a 20 percent chance of some isolated showers, going up to 100 percent and less isolated in the evening. Temperatures expected to be between 73ºF and 50ºF. 

2. After the bombing on Monday, a number of Patch readers, marathoners, and others have written to Patch about their takes on the incident, all of which are under the Local Voices section of the site. 3. Around here, Friday means Frank Arren. Frank Arren will be hostly his regular Friday weekly walk and lunchtime networking group. At the Presbyterian Church on 1456 Great Plain Avenue. The walk sets off at 8:30 a.m., the networking group at noon.

5.  Temple Beth Elohim is bringing back their . For kids aged between 12 and 30 months, and their caregivers, the course will provide play, songs, stories and a snack in a warm, welcoming place to connect--the kids may even make connections of their own. The Temple is at 10 Bethel Rd, Wellesley, and the course is $140.
