5 Things You Need to Know: Street Fair, Kids Ride, Now Change and More

Five things you need to know today for Needham and Wellesley, on the weekend of May 31, 2013.

 

1. Did you make it through yesterday without switching on the AC? Well, today may tax that fortitude, so says the National Weather Service. They predict a 95ºF high for the mostly sunny day, and mostly clear with a a 66ºF low in the evening.

2. Directed, run and performed entirely by students, . Want to catch the show? There's only one place to be Needham High School, 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5.

3. Don't miss the Wellesley Hills Junior Women's Club Yard Sale, if you're in the market for gently used items. Head over to 102 Woodside Ave for 8 a.m. Saturday to start shopping. If you don't get everything on your list, then stop by the Hastings Village Multi Family Yard Sale, which starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday at 66 Hastings St in Wellesley.

4. The Annual Needham Street Fair, sponsored by the Needham Business Association, will have trolley rides, a bouncy house, and even a silent auction. Don't want to be left out? Good thing it's easy to get to. On Saturday, head over to Needham Town Common at 10 a.m.

5. Come out to cheer on kids bikers as they raise money for the Jimmy Fund, which funds Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, at 7th Annual Wellesley Weston PMC Kids Ride. You can watch at Babson College, Sunday morning starting at 8:30 a.m.
