Annual Gala to Celebrate BID-Needham’s 100th Year

The excitement is building for ’s 14th annual Gala celebrating a century of caring in the community.

The Gala will be held on Friday, Oct. 26 from 6-11 p.m., at the Newton Marriott Hotel, 2345 Commonwealth Ave., in Newton with dinner, dancing and a live auction that will include an in-home cocktail party for you and some of your closest friends planned by Rafanelli Events and catered by MAX Ultimate Food, luxury vacations, and delicious restaurant adventures. The Gala promises to be a fun evening with emcee Susan Wornick, WCVB-TV’s anchor/investigative consumer reporter, and NECN TV Diner and Kiss 108’s Billy Costa who will host the evening’s live auction.

Funds raised will go towards a $6 million dollar capital campaign for the new Beth Israel Deaconess Cancer Center and Surgical Pavilion at BID-Needham. Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and BID-Needham are collaborating on this three-story comprehensive center and will break ground for the project in the spring.
