Arrest Warrant, Dangerous Weapon Possession: Needham Police Log

April 19
10:20 a.m. - An officer took a report of suspicious telephone calls at a Highland Avenue religious facility. The suspect, a Waltham resident, was advised to stop the phone calls, or she would be subject to criminal charges. Brookline Police were also contacted regarding the matter.
11:15 a.m. - An officer responded to a Wexford Street business for the report of found property. The property was turned over and brought back to the station for safe keeping.

4:30 p.m. - Officers responded to a disturbance at a Third Ave business. The customer has left the business prior to officers arriving at the scene.
10:45 p.m. - An officer responded to West Street residence for a reported disturbance. The man involved in the verbal dispute had left the home. Advice was given to the reporting party.

April 20
5:08 a.m. - An officer conducting selective traffic enforcement at the intersection of Central and Great Plain avenues initiated a traffic stop. After a subsequent investigation, a 22-year-old Christopher Ricciardelli of Needham was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, driving with a defective Plate light/equipment, speeding in a posted zone, and possession of a dangerous weapon
10:00 a.m. - An officer took a report from a walk-in party about fraud. The walk-in party reported that someone tried to defraud a client of his by using his information to get them to wire money.
April 21
A resident of Longacre Road reported someone had tried to open credit card accounts using her identity. She has notified her bank and credit card companies to watch her credit card activity.
April 22
8:30 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Sachem Road address to arrest a 32-year-old Conor Smith of Needham on an arrest warrant.
