Bulfinch Receives 2017 Pinnacle MA ECO Award

From Nickerson: The Bulfinch Companies, Inc., a private commercial real estate investment firm, announced that it was awarded the 2017 Pinnacle Award at the seventh annual Massachusetts Excellence in Commuter Options (ECO) Awards hosted by MassCommute, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), and MassRIDES.

Bulfinch’s Pinnacle Level Award, rising from the Leadership Level in 2016, recognizes the company’s consistent dedication to encouraging alternative transportation modes that are more efficient, economical and sustainable. Such modes include: shuttle service to local MBTA stations, walking programs, guaranteed ride home programs, bike-sharing programs, EV charging stations on-site, and Zipcars.

The Massachusetts ECO Awards were held at Fenway Park on April 12th and honored Massachusetts employers who have shown a dedication to providing comprehensive transportation options. Through efforts that offer incentivized smart, sustainable transportation options, these businesses are reducing traffic congestion, improving air quality and supporting strong local and regional economies. More than 200 Massachusetts businesses, colleges, and universities were represented at the seventh annual celebration to honor the contributions the award winners have made within the last year to help reduce traffic congestion, promote healthy lifestyles, and benefit the environment.
