Violent crime includes offenses involving force or the threat of force: murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, according to the FBI.There were zero reported rapes, zero robberies, and four aggravated assaults.Other crime stats for Needham include 157 larcenies, 32 burglaries, six motor vehicle thefts, and zero cases of arson.Nationally, violent crime decreased nationally last year by 0.2 percent from 2013, according to the report.
