Identity Released Of Man Killed In Needham Crash: Reports
The man's truck went out of control and ended up perpendicular to incoming traffic before a second truck hit its side, according to police.
NEEDHAM, MA — Police have released the identity of the driver killed in a crash involving two pickup trucks early Tuesday morning, according to multiple reports that cite police.
The man — identified by outlets including Boston25 and MassLive as Dylan Chaves, 31, of Fiskdale — died at the scene on Route 95 South around 4:40 a.m. after his truck went out of control and ended up perpendicular to incoming traffic before a second truck hit its side, police said.
The driver of the second truck was also hospitalized with serious injuries, according to police.

It was rainy at the time of the crash and the road was wet, police said.
Three of the four southbound lanes were closed for approximately two hours to accommodate the rescue response and investigation.
