Needham 2018 Memorial Day Schedule
There will be a few brief ceremonies and a parade Monday.
NEEDHAM, MA — Below is the schedule for Memorial Day in Needham:
- 6:50 a.m. - Memorial Mass at St Joseph's Parish on Highland Avenue
- 8:15 a.m. - Services at police and fire departments on Chestnut and School streets
- 9 a.m. - Placing of wreath, flag raising ceremony at St. Mary's Cemetery
- 9:45 a.m. - Placing of wreath, flag raising ceremony at Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Cefalo Road
- 10:30 a.m. - Placing of wreath, flag raising, playing of Taps at Needham Central Cemetery
- 11 a.m. - Parade from the intersection Nehoiden Street and Parish Road to the Town Common
- 11:20 a.m. - Ceremony, placing of wreath, flag raising on the Town Common
- 11:45 a.m. - Parade to Memorial Park along Highland Avenue
- 12:30 p.m. - Collation at VFW, 20 Junction St. All are welcomed
