Needham Emergency Crews Respond To Gas Leak
Gould Street is blocked off near the Highland Avenue intersection while police and fire crews work on the leak.

NEEDHAM, MA — Needham Police and Fire responded to a report of a gas main that was struck at the intersection of Highland Ave and Gould Street Thursday afternoon.
Emergency crews got to the scene around 1:35 p.m.
Eversource has been notified and no traffic is allowed on Gould Street while crews work to fix the leak.

There was no word on any injuries and no additional information has been released.
Today (9/2/21) at approximately 1:35 PM Needham Police and Fire responded to a report of a gas main that was struck at the intersection of Highland Ave and Gould St. Eversource Gas has been notified. No traffic allowed on Gould st for the time being.
