Needham Medical Worker Threatened by Patient

A medical worker in Needham could press criminal charges after a disgruntled patient verbally threatened her over the phone earlier this week, police said.

An officer responded to a business address on Hillside Avenue for a report of past threats around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The victim told the officer that she was threatened after a disagreement over a medical bill.

The exact nature of the threats were not disclosed, but the victim was advised on how to obtain a harassment prevention order and how to press criminal charges.

Later in the day, the suspect showed up at the address. At the request of management, the officer was asked to escort the suspect from the property.

The individual was told not to return.
