Needham Mortgage Company Sponsoring a 2020 Vision Quest

In March 2012, a New Hampshire man aimed to become the 47th person to scale all of the state's mountains in one winter, and to be the first blind man to do it. 

Randy Pierce the Nashua, NH resident who chronicled the journey at 2020 Vision Quest, is now traveling to share his story and his message of following dreams to school children. Needham-based Fairway Independent Mortgage announced they are sponsoring this program, and working to get his message to 48,000 school children in the 2013-14 school year. 

Pierce's planned visits be an hour-long presentation, a Q&A session, and time to meet his guide dog, the Mighty Quinn, according to a press release posted on PR Web.

"I think that the adventures of Quinn and I serve as living proof that through hard work, perseverance, and most importantly, believing in yourself, you can achieve whatever you set your mind to,” says Pierce in the release.

Fairway Regional Vice President, and saw Pierce speak at an industry conference, and decided to sponsor the program. 

“Randy’s sharing of his experience as a means of helping people overcome their own fears and obstacles is a wonderful gift that so many can benefit from,” says Tierce in the release. “Our connection to communities through our business and referral partners provides a vast network of people to share Randy’s message with, and we are especially excited to provide school children with this inspiring opportunity.”
