Friday, May 17

- Police received a report of a suspicious man driving a minivan, approaching several young girls and asking for help finding a phone he dropped, at about 4:45 p.m. Police located the driver, and identified him as a delivery person.
Saturday, May 18
- At about 12:30 a.m., police saw two men walking on Central Avenue toward Dover. One of the men was holding the other up as he walked. Officers put one of the two into protective custody, and the other was turned over to family.
- Police responded to an assault in a Chestnut Street parking lot at about 10:15 a.m. Police say that two women got into an argument regarding the checkout line. One of the women pushed the other in an attempt to leave, and neither wants to pursue the matter.
- 11:45 a.m., police responded to a report of a vehicle stolen overnight from a repair facility on Central Avenue.
- Deerfield Road, police received a report of a disturbance between neighbors over a loose dog, 5:30 p.m. Police did not file charges at that time, and the parties were informed that they could seek complaints.
- The Sheraton Hotel garage reported a vehicle with damage done to it, at about 10:30 p.m.

- At about 2:45 a.m., police received a report of a disturbance at a Nehoiden Street residence. When they arrived, they found an intoxicated man who was lost and mistook the place for his friend's home. The 25-year-old Somerset man was placed in protective custody.
- A car crashed into a tree at about noon, on Central Avenue near Parish Road. The 23-year-old man at the wheel was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
- Police were dispatched to investigate a suspicious party at about 1 p.m. in the Great Plain Avenue/Douglas Avenue area. The driver of a gold-colored minivan stopped and talked to the reporting caller's seven-year-old daughter. The vehicle drove off as the caller approached. Surrounding communities were notified, and police checked the area for the vehicle.
- Neighbor trouble reported at an address on Hillcrest Road. The two parties expressed displeasure with their neighbor and sought advice, and police took a report of the incident at about 2:30 p.m.
