Friday, April 12

  • A building on the 990 block of Great Plain Avenue reported that someone had been sleeping in the hallway as of about 6:15 a.m. The reporting caller said they had eft just before police arrived. Police found the suspicious person, an 18-year-old from Needham, who was instructed not to come back.
  • 1:15 p.m., police reported that her car was hit by another vehicle in the parking lot behind Trader Joe's. Police say there were no witnesses.
  • While eating at a Highland Avenue prior to the report at 8:30 p.m., a woman reported that her wallet was taken from the pocket book. The credit card was used at the Chestnut Hill Mall that evening. Police are investigating.

  • A Homeowner on Sunnyside Road reported vandalism on her home, some time after 1 a.m. She heard a noise outside of her house, and in the morning she was able to see several eggs were thrown at the house. Police are investigating.
  • 2 p.m., police responded to a Hunnewell Street address to talk about past larceny from a vehicle. Police say a GPS device was taken from the car within the last few days.
