Friday, April 26

  • A woman on Edwardel Road reported that, at about 7 p.m., she had been walking her dog when another dog attacked. While trying to break up the fight, she was bitten. Police informed Animal Control, who are looking into the incident.

  • A dirt bike worth $100 was reportedly stolen some time in the last few days from a Yurick Road residence, before 11:30 a.m. The bike had been left outside and unlocked. 
  • 3:30 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious man near the 900 block of Highland Avenue, who had offered kids some money to help him find his car. Four units checked the area, and were unable to locate the man.

Sunday, April 28

  • Kendrick Street, outside of the PTC building, police encountered a man known to them in the parking lot. After speaking to him, and a brief investigation, the found he was in possession of a small amount of marijunana. Police seized the marjuana for destruction and sent him on his way.
