Friday, May 10
- Police received a vandalism report from a vehicle parked on Chambers Street, at about 10 a.m. They say a series of small scratches was on the hood and trunk, but they are not sure how this occurred.
- Greendale Avenue at Spring Road, police stopped a car with an expired inspection sticker at about 11:15 a.m. After speaking with the driver, they learned that he had a suspended license. The car was towed, and the driver was summonsed to court.
- 12:45 a.m., police stop a vehicle on Parker Raod for an equipment violation: no brake lights. After the stop, they arrested and charged 25-year-old Andrew Purcell of Needham with operating a vehicle on a suspended licesnse and the defective equipment violation.
- An Ellis Street business reported vandalism at about 2:15 p.m. Police are investigating.
- Just after 6 p.m., police stopped a vehicle for an inspection sticker violation on Highland Avenue at the intersection with Cottage Avenue. The driver, a 54-year-old woman from Needham will be summonsed to court for driving with a revoked registration and driving an uninsured and unregistered vehicle.
- 7:30 p.m., police go to a Central Avenue residence in the 1500 block. While speaking to one of the men present, Dover man Matthew Nelson, 31, they determined he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and charged on that outstanding Lynn warrant for fare evasion.
- 8:15 p.m., a Farley Pond Lane resident reports a series of harrassing phone calls to police, who are investigating.
- Birch Street, at about 10:45 p.m., police spot an unoccupied car. After running the plates, police determined that the vehicle's registration had been canceled, and that the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured. Police summonsed the owner, a 63-year-old Needham man for having an uninsured and unregistered vehicle and attaching the wrong (i.e., canceled) plates to the vehicle.

- Police discovered a vehicle on First Avenue had been broken into, at about 1:15 a.m. The officer reports that the rear door had been broken and torn from its track. Inside the vehicle was some contracting equipment, although there was no way of knowing whether any had been stolen from inside. The cab of the vehicle appeared untouched. Police are investigating the incident.
- Hawthorn Avenue, before 7 a.m., police received a report that their car tire had blown up, and their vehicle had been damaved by it.
- 11 a.m., police saw a vehicle matching the description of one belonging to a wanted person. They pulled the vehicle over at the Highland Avenue and Webster Street intersection and identified the driver, Amado Morales, 29, of Chelsea. Morales was arrested and charged on an outstanding probation warrant.
Sunday, May 12
- 2 a.m., police stopped a vehicle with an expired registration. The 32-year-old Middleborough man at the wheel was summonsed to court as a result.
- Property damage crash reported at a Rosemary Street address at about 9:15 a.m., when a vehicle hit the rear of a parked car, and pushed it into a third. No injuries were reported, and police cited the driver of the first vehicle.
- Vandalism to a vehicle reported at about 6:30 p.m., when a 61-year-old Needham resident said that he had been in his yard doing some work, and went inside briefly. When he retruend, he found the window on his car was broken. Police believe nothing was taken and no objects nearby could have caused the damage.

- The Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime (NORPAC) Task Force and Needham Police arrested and charged a 44-year-old New Jersey woman, Yuxiu Tang for solicitation of sexual conduct for a fee before 4:30 p.m. Police say that the arrest came after complaints about Jojo's Asian Body Works and investigation into those complaints.
