A Needham resident who allegedly sped down Highland Avenue with their vehicle's high beams on is facing a slew of charges after failing to stop for a pursuing officer.Early Friday morning, around 12:30 a.m., an officer observed a black Hyundai Elantra traveling in an erratic fashion. The officer attempted to stop the car, but the motorist refused to comply, according to police. A pursuit ensued and the operator finally stopped near the area of Nehoiden Street and Central Avenue. Paul Schapoval, 28, of Needham, was placed under arrest.Schapoval was charged with failure to stop for police, marked lanes violation, speeding, failure to dim high beams and one way violation.
