Needham Residents Named AP Scholars

Rachel Spitzer and Jackson Scholl were named AP Scholars with Distinction for their work at Boston's Commonwealth School.

Rachel Spitzer and Jackson Scholl, both of Needham, have been named AP Scholars with Distinction, which means that they received an average score of 3.5 or higher on all the Advanced Placement (AP) exams they took, and scores of 3 or higher on at least five of those exams.

Both Spitzer and Scholl attended the Commonwealth School, according to readmedia.

The AP Scholar program recognizes academic excellence based on a student’s performance in the College Board’s Advanced Placement Exams. A total of 46 current and former students at Commonwealth School were recognized by the AP Scholar program this fall.
