The Artisan Craft Fair and Bake Sale is back, and it promises to be an unforgettable experience! For one epic day, Needham High School will transform into a vibrant marketplace filled with creativity and community spirit.
Happening in not just one, but two gymnasiums, this annual Fall extravaganza promises over 100 vendors showcasing their unique arts and crafts. Whether you're hunting for the perfect gift or just looking to treat yourself to some handmade treasures, this fair has got you covered.

This beloved annual tradition started 41 years ago by the NHS Parent Teacher Committee to raise funds for the school. It is still the largest fundraiser of the year supporting extra items that may not be included in the school's budget. “The funds will be used for student scholarships, staff appreciation events, and discretionary funds for the guidance department.”, says Andreia Stiffler, Craft Fair Publicity Chair. “This event has become a community gifting favorite where you can find something for everyone from stylish jewelry to holiday notecards. Plus, who can resist a good bake sale?”
Students are encouraged to volunteer at the fair or donate baked goods for the bake sale, earning community service hours while gaining insights into the creative sector. "It’s a fantastic chance for students to witness entrepreneurship firsthand and discover various career possibilities,” Craft Fair Chair, Beth McCarthy added. McCarthy worked to create a diverse selection of artisans, ensuring a variety of items appealing to all ages, with a special focus on including local Needham crafters. Around 65% of the vendors are returning participants. In addition to the crafts, the bake sale offers an array of delicious treats—cakes, pies, cookies, muffins, brownies, and more—generously donated by home bakers and local eateries.
Admission to the fair is $5 and all proceeds benefit Needham High School students and teachers. The Artisan Craft Fair and Bake Sale will occur on Saturday, October 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Needham High School.
