On Saturday, Oct. 10, a traffic detour will be in place on Kendrick St. Crews will be shutting down the water line on the Kendrick St. bridge.Traffic on Kendrick St. between 3rd Ave and Hunting Rd. heading southbound (from Newton in to Needham) will be reduced to one travel lane.Northbound traffic (Needham heading towards Newton) between Hunting Rd and 3rd Ave will be detoured on to Hunting Rd, then to Highland Ave, then on to 2nd Ave to Fourth Ave., and back on to Kendrick St.Travel towards Newton on Kendrick St. from the Greendale Ave. area will not be permitted.The hours of the construction will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
