Vandalism, Highway Photography: Needham Police Log
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

August 6
3:15 p.m. - A Dover resident came to the station to report that his motor vehicle was involved in a hit and run crash in Needham. He stated that while he was parked on Hunnewell Street by the Heights Post Office, an unknown vehicle struck it. The damage consisted of dents and scrapes to the left front door and left rear view mirror. This incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. while he was inside the Post Office. There were no witnesses. The party was advised to contact his insurance company.
3:40 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to Riverside Street addresses for a report of a past trespassing. The reporting person stated that beer bottles and trash were found behind the properties. The reporting person was advised to lock the property and police will be checking the area.

7:00 p.m. - An officer responded to a School Street address for a report of an outdoor fire. The Needham Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire without issue.
August 7

2:45 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Gould Street address for damage to a vehicle. The victim stated she came out to the parking lot to see her passenger side window shattered. The shattered glass on the outside of the car, and the glass was bowing outward, as if it were caused by the extreme heat. There was no rocks, or objects in the vehicle or area that would cause the window to shatter. The victim was advised to contact her insurance company.
9:00 p.m. - An officer responded to the area of Gould Street in Needham for a report of a suspicious person. The party was gone on arrival and the matter is currently under investigation.
10:15 a.m. - An officer responded to a Washburn Avenue address for a report of a past vandalism. At this time there are no suspects and the incident is still under investigation.
August 8
11:35 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Greendale Avenue address for a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle. A check of the area showed no other vandalized motor vehicles. The matter is under investigation.
2:15 p.m. - A person came to the police station to report unauthorized withdrawals from their bank account. They wanted the report filed.
7:00 p.m. - An officer encountered two individuals in a Gould Street parking lot. The individuals advised the officer that they planned on climbing to a high vantage point to take pictures of the highway. They were advised that they would be trespassing and it was also unsafe. They stated that they understood and went on their way.
