NEWTON, MA — Former Assistant AG and candidate for Attorney General Quentin Palfrey has been endorsed by a group of 13 elected and community leaders in Newton, including City Council President Susan Albright, Vice President Richard Lipof, and members Victoria Danberg, Bill Humphrey, David Kalis, and Holly Ryan.

These Newton leaders have added their names to a list of more than 300 state, local and community leaders who have endorsed Palfrey’s grassroots campaign.

“Quentin has already taken a strong role in protecting elections and supporting excellence in health care in his past roles,” Albright said in a statement. “As a former Assistant Attorney General, he will take the job of the People's Lawyer to new heights. These times are difficult and disturbing. We need a strong leader as our AG to respond to challenges coming at us from corporations, the fossil fuel industry, the gun lobby, and those who are trying to take away our rights for abortion, same-sex marriage, and even contraception. Quentin Palfrey is the man we need to lead us for the next 4 years. I hope you will join me in voting for Quentin.”

That’s why I’m supporting Quentin in this important race for Attorney General.”
