40 Stuffed Animals, 1 Night at the Library

A bunch of children volunteered to part with their beloved stuffed animals for one night -- all to allow those stuffed animals a night of fun at the Newton Free Library.

On Friday, more than 40 stuffed animals were dropped off at the library for the second Stuffed Animal Sleepover. Once the doors locked for the night, the fun began.

Children's librarians and other library employees supervised the animals as they explored the books, shelves and corners of the library. Their adventures were documented in photographs and the stuffed animal parents returned Saturday morning for breakfast and a chance to view the photos.
