Strawberry fundraiser, Solarize Mass info session, Traffic Council and more.

1. Strawberries! The Newton Cultural Alliance will hold the first Strawberry Festival tonight from 7-9 at 50 Chase St., in Newton Centre. Proceeds from ticket sales will support the NCA. Tickets can be purchased online.
2. As part of the Solarize Mass program, Newton residents will have access to a variety of workshops and resources designed to help them understand going solar. Solar 101 will take place tonight at 7 p.m. at Newton City Hall and will address some of the basics of the going solar process.
3. A new city-wide initiative, Wellcoin, will officially launch today at 10:30 a.m. with a presentation by Mayor Setti Warren. Stop by Whole Foods Market in Newtonville to learn more.

4. The Board of Aldermen Traffic Council meets tonight at 7 at Newton City Hall.
