Bernard's Has Reopened in Chestnut Hill

Months after the popular Bernard's restaurant closed at the Mall at Chestnut Hill, the "gourmet Asian" eatery has finally reopened next door at The Street. 

The restaurant opened Tuesday, April 16, according to The Street Facebook page and website. It is located in the new building recently constructed at 55 Boylston St., next to the new City Sports and below Sports Club/LA.

Bernard's closed its location at the Mall at Chestnut Hill in early 2013 as it prepared to relocate to The Street. Meanwhile, the Mall announced in February that a new Tokyo Japanese Steak House would fill the space vacated by Bernard's.

According to The Street's website, Bernard's offers Asian cuisine with "only the freshest ingredients and the finest aromatic spices." In addition to its dining area, the restaurant also offers private functions and catering. 

Bernard's is open Monday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 11:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.; Sunday, noon - 9 p.m., according to The Street website. The restaurant can be reached at 617-969-3388.
