Body Found in Providence Could Missing Brown Student Sunil Tripathi

Tripathi was last in touch with his aunt, who lives in Newton.

A body found in the Providence River Tuesday could be of Sunil Tripathi, 22, a former Brown University student who went missing in March, reports boston.com.

Providence police Lieutenant Joseph Donnelly reportedly said “it’s very, very possible” that the body could be Sunil Tripathi, but he added it was still unconfirmed.

His aunt, who lives in Newton, was the last family member to be in contact with Tripathi. The pair texted each other on the evening of March 15, according to a report on Boston.com.
