Boston College Men's Soccer Hosting Ted Lasso Day

NEWTON, MA — Though the Apple TV+ series "Ted Lasso" seemingly came to an end this past spring, Boston College fans, who double as Lasso fans, have a chance to celebrate the show this week.

When Boston College men's soccer hosts Wake Forest at 2 p.m. Friday at the Newton Campus Lacrosse & Soccer Field, 885 Centre St., the Eagles will hold the program's first Ted Lasso Day.

Fans attending the game will receive a Lasso-inspired poster featuring BC junior F/M Drew Serafino. There are a limited number of posters, so fans are encouraged to show up early.

The BC Athletic Department also is asking fans to dress up in their "best Ted Lasso attire." Fans can then post a picture of themselves at the game and tag BC men's soccer — @BC_MSoccer —on social media for a chance to win a BC apparel pack.

Boston College is 2-3-3 on the season and O-2-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference action. Wake Forest is 6-1-3 overall, 1-1-1 in the ACC and ranked No. 10 in the country in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll.
