City of Newton to Offer Drop-in Counseling Hours
The counseling hours will be held at Newton City Hall's war memorial.

In the wake of Monday's bombings at the Boston Marathon finish line, the city of Newton will be offering drop-in counseling services this Thursday and Friday.
The counseling will be held in the Newton City Hall War Memorial on Thursday from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. and Friday from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., according to an advisory from the mayor's office.
Counselors from the Riverside Trauma Center will be on hand to speak with anyone in need., the advisory said.

Anyone who needs to speak to a counselor but cannot make it to the drop-in hours can contact the city's Health & Human Services Department at 617-796-1420.
The city of Newton will also hold a vigil for the bombing victims on Wednesday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. on the steps of the City Hall War Memorial.
