Have You Seen This Man Suspected of Shoplifting from CVS?

The Newton Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a man wanted in connection to a Thursday shoplifting incident in Newton Centre.
According to police reports, the pictured man exited the CVS at 1199 Center St. in Newton Centre around 9:45 p.m. Thursday, June 6. He was carrying a bag of items, believed to be drinks, for which he did not pay.
Police say that a CVS employee recognized the man as having been in the store on prior occaisions.

Indecent Exposure
A woman called Newton Police on June 2 to report an indecent exposure incident on Hunnewell Avenue.
According to reports, the victim was walking home when she saw a man wearing black pants and no shirt who appeared to be masturbating at the intersection of Washington and Grassmere. She told police she walked away, turning around to see whether the man was following her.
He remained in the same place and asked the victim whether she knew what time it was. The victim continued toward her home and when she looked again, the man was gone.
Police searched the area, but could not locate the suspect. The victim said she didn't get a good look at the man, but described him as a white man, about 6 foot tall with an athletic build.
OUI Arrest
Newton Police arrested Taryn Prostano, 27, of Tappen Street in Brookline following a motor vehicle stop on June 1 on Washington Street.
According to police reports, when officers attempted to arrest Prostano, she ignored verbal commands to place her hands behind her back and became violent with the officers. As officers were applying handcuffs, Prostano struck an officer in the eye with her right arm.
Prostano has been charged with OUI (drugs), resisting arrest, assault and battery on an officer, and possession Class E.
