Watertown Street Improvement in Nonantum

Head to the Pellegrini Park Community Center Gym at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 29 for an update on improvements to Watertown Street in Nonantum.

Cheap Cheesecake

In honor of National Cheesecake Day, Cheesecake Factory in Chestnut Hill will be offering half-price cheesecake all day Tuesday, July 30.

Tax Bills

Don't forget, your first quarter FY2014 property tax payments are due Aug. 1.

Free FroYo

Orange Leaf is holding a grand opening celebration at its new 1185 Highland St., location. Yes, it is just over the line in Needham, but who isn't willing to travel for some FREE froyo? That's right, free. From 6 p.m.-11 p.m. July 31, Orange Leaf will give away an 8-ounce cup of yogurt to every customer.

Civil War Encampment

Soldiers will be camped out at Jackson Homestead Saturday, Aug. 3 through Sunday, Aug. 4, for a weekend of reenactments and opportunities for guests to ask questions of soldiers and civilians and otherwise learn about the 28th Massachusetts regiment.
