NEWTON, MA — For the past two decades hundreds of families descend on the grounds of Newton City Hall in early May for the Newton Kids Fun Fest. It's a two-day event complete with amusement rides, food and plenty of vendors.

From 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday folks can swing by to play games grab some funnel cake or learn about summer camps in the area. Tomorrow's weather is supposed to reach into the 60s.

This year the event is sponsored by Newton Community Pride, The Village Bank, Bright Horizons, The Center for Pediatric Dental Care and Orthodontics, and Steve DeMasco's Martial Arts.
