NEWTON, MA — Mayor Ruthanne Fuller is scheduled to deliver her final State of the City address on Monday, Feb. 3 at 7:45 p.m.

Lieutenant Governor Kimberly Driscoll is being named as the special attendee, along with the City Council and School Committee. Residents are invited to the City Council Chambers at City Hall on Commonwealth Avenue, however the address will also be streamed on Zoom as well as on the city’s cable television channel.

“I am reminded daily that we are a community of nearly 90,000 neighbors who are raising our families, going to school and to work, seeking joy, and retiring in this special place we all call home,” Fuller said ahead of the event. “Even as we face uncertainty and a myriad of challenges, the state of our city remains strong.”
