Newton Officials Endorse Andrea Campbell For Attorney General

NEWTON, MA — On Tuesday, Newton Mayor Ruthanne Fuller, State Representative Kay Khan, and other Newton elected officials endorsed Andrea Campbell for Attorney General.

"Experienced. Inclusive. Committed. Wise. Responsive. Well qualified. Caring. That’s Andrea Campbell. That’s what we need in our Attorney General,” Fuller said in a statement.

"Andrea has dedicated her life to fighting for equity and opportunity,” Kahn said in a statement. "Her incredible story, her years of experience leading as an elected official, and her commitment to move us forward and work hard on day one make her the most formidable candidate in the Attorney General's race."
Campbell also earned the endorsements of School Committee Chair Tamika Olszewski and City Councilors Andreae Downs, Andrea Kelley, Deb Crossley, Tarik Lucas, and Marc Laredo.

Since her campaign’s launch, Campbell has raised more than $1 million dollars since the campaign’s launch and picked up endorsements from Congressman Jake Auchincloss, Assistant Speaker Katherine Clark, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, and the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund.
