Newton Restaurant Closing At The End Of The Year: Report

NEWTON, MA — Moldova Restaurant on 344 Watertown St. is closing its doors at the end of the month, according to a report from NBC 10 Boston.
The establishment first opened in 2016, offering eastern European dishes from the country of Moldova. Its final day of operation is set for Sunday, Dec. 29. Ownership said that it lost its lease after a difficult financial year in 2024.
