Gunshots rang out in Newton Highlands Tuesday afternoon after some sort of standoff ended with two Newton police officers shooting a man in Newton Highlands Tuesday afternoon.
"The Middlesex District Attorney's Office is actively investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred today at Lincoln Street in Newton," according to Marcela Dwork of the district attorney's office.
