NEWTON, MA — On Tuesday, Congressman Jake Auchincloss, who represents Newton, Brookline, and the rest of Massachusetts’ Fourth Congressional District, endorsed Attorney General Maura Healey for governor.

“Maura Healey will keep Massachusetts moving forward - she will continue what is working and fix what is not,” Auchincloss said in a statement. "I'm confident she will focus on lowering costs, especially in housing and child care; partnering with Gateway Cities on economic development; and making Massachusetts the pace-setter in the transition to a clean energy economy.”

"But I’m not just issuing an endorsement,” he continued. "It's also a commitment: to be a close partner at the federal level when she takes the helm in 2023.”
