"Andrea will continue Massachusetts' proud tradition of national leadership in defense of equal justice under the law," Auchincloss said.
NEWTON, MA — On Monday, Congressman Jake Auchincloss, who represents Newton, Brookline, and the rest of Massachusetts’ Fourth Congressional District, endorsed Andrea Campbell for Attorney General.
In his endorsement, Auchincloss cited Campbell’s citing her commitment to sensible gun-reform, leadership in the push to protect and expand access to reproductive care, and belief in shared democratic values.
“Andrea Campbell has the experience and the vision to be a terrific Attorney General,” Auchincloss said in a statement. “In Washington, we're fighting against a cyclone of NRA zealots, anti-abortion crusaders and democracy deniers. Andrea will continue Massachusetts’ proud tradition of national leadership in defense of equal justice under the law. She is the right choice for Attorney General.”
