Ride Through All 13 of the City's Villages During the Tour of Newton

The first annual ride weaves through 20 miles of Newton roads at a leisurely pace.

The first ever Tour de Newton - a 20 mile bike ride through all 13 of Newton's villages - will be held on Sunday.

Groups will gather in all 13 villages and set off on the 20 mile ride at 9:30 a.m.

Locals will greet riders each time they reach a village, and will talk about the highlights of the area. Riders can collect badges at each village, and those who complete all 20 miles can enter to win a new Trek bike from International Bicycle.

The ride will be at leisurely pace and is suitable for adults, kids, casual and serious riders alike. Come for a portion or the whole circuit. The route will be marked with arrows painted on the roadway along with the letters "TdN."

Sign up for the Tour de Newton at http://bikenewton.org/services/tour-de-newton-registration/. Riders will get a complimentary T-shirt.
