Road Construction Coming to Nonantum Next Week

The road construction rounds continue in Newton, with Watertown Street in Nonantum next on the list.

According to the city website, work on Watertown Street will commence on Monday, Aug. 26. The project will stretch from Hawthorn Street to Faxon Street. Traffic delays are anticipated as the work will take place during daylight hours.

The road construction schedule also indicates that paving of Parker Street at Route 9 will also begin on Monday and cold planing of Langley at Route 9 will take place in the overnight hours from Aug. 25-29.
