Reason for running: I am running for the American Liver Foundation's Run for Research. This is the Run for Research team's 25th year in existence and is the oldest marathon charity team. I have a personal connection to this cause because I have two autoimmune liver diseases and while running the race itself has always been a goal of mine, the awareness and fundraising campaign I am involved in has been equally challenging and inspiring. More information on Kelly's run is available on his fundraising page.

Training tip: Learn how to layer for winter running! Since Boston is known for notorious winters, it is important to have the right gear and to layer properly so you can train through those harsh winter months.

Qualified runner or charity bib? Charity bib

Bib number: 21352
