It might sound like a strange science fiction story, but North Andover reportedly had a sighting of a "coywolf," which is a coyote-wolf hybrid, WHDH reports.
The animal was reported by a North Andover resident, and what he described may very well have been a coywolf. Wolves haven't been part of the Massachusetts wildlife in more than 100 years, but they can migrate from other areas. And coyotes do have some wolf DNA.
