• Cooler: Temperatures are expected to be in the mid-30s most of the day, with clear sunny skies.
• Pet Food Fun: Ciao! Bow Wow will host a special event for kids today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lisa from The Honest Kitchen will show kids how to make fresh food for their dog and/or cat. Kids will mix it up there and take it home the "free lunch" for their pets.
• Vacation: The kids are on vacation this week, and here are a few ideas for things to do.
• Trash: Trash pick-up is delayed one day due to the holiday.
• This Day in History: In 1792, President George Washington signed the Postal Service Act creating the United States Postal Service. In 1839, Congress prohibited dueling in Washington D.C. In 1880, American Bell Company was incorporated.
