Former North Andover High School Charged With Giving Drugs to Student
Former North Andover teacher allegedly gave the drugs to a former student athlete in 2014.
A former North Andover teacher and coach will be arraigned on Tuesday in Lawrence District Court on drug charges after she allegedly gave drugs to a student.
Elizabeth Backler, 28, of Newburyport, was arrested on Monday night on a warrant at home, according to authorities.
Backler is scheduled to be arraigned on two counts of distribution of OxyCodone and one count of distribution of Diazepam.
